Alexia Morales '24 Recruiting Profile

 Gym for me has always been my second home.  Watching my older sister play created this passion for the game in me. Given the opportunity to play in college has allowed me to fulfill my lifetime goal. I am the first generation to play at the collegiate level. 

Like Kobe Bryant, I too am a leader by example and by voice. Whether I'm on the floor or resting on the bench, I like to encourage my teammates. I push myself to be one of the hardest working players on the team. Positive energy can do attitude, and dedication are just a few qualities I can bring to your team.

My athleticism has been with me since a young age. Sitting out as a Junior due to reconstructive ACL surgery was one of the hardest things to face. But I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. During that time, I was able to view the game from the coach's perspective and it allowed me to assist our coach, encourage our team and be the coaches' voice from the sideline. 

In school, I have maintained a 3.6 GPA and have been named to the Dean's list Fall 2024 in Letourneau University. I have recently entered the transfer portal seeking a better academic and athletic fit where I can compete at the highest level on the court.
