Sarah Cook '23 Recruiting Profile

My passion for basketball began when I was about 4 years old. My

grandparents had season tickets to the San Antonio Spurs and took me to the games

frequently.  I also was influenced by my older brother who was a great player and always helped me learn the game. It became my goal in life to

 play at the highest level.

I have played almost every day during these years and played on a team

every year since I was six years old. I am told that my ability to see the floor,

and direct plays are my greatest strengths.  I am fully

committed to a team concept and the need to be coachable under any

circumstances.

I strive to be a well-rounded person through dedication to family, religion

and a good education. I have also participated in volleyball, track and softball

over the years, only to learn of my one true passion, basketball.

I am looking forward to playing basketball through high school and into

college. My goal is to be the first in my family to graduate from college, and

hope to use my basketball skills to make it happen.
