Andrea Salazar '20 Recruiting Profile

Although being a consistent top scorer is an important goal to me, nothing is more important than being a positive influence to my teammates and helping them be as successful as possible. I strive to be the teammate you can always rely on for anything. Over the summer, I played in a basketball tournament in Brisbane, Australia. My team consisted of 10 girls who didn't know each other. From that experience my teamwork skills improved in such a short amount of time from having to learn each others playing styles. Working hard during my junior year has allowed me to accumulate many double-doubles and remaining a top scorer as the season continues. While my growth continues to progress, I am searching for a program that is a good fit for me academically and athletically. In the meantime, I will stay in the gym perfecting my play and I will work to whatever extent necessary to achieve my goals.
