2012 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I love the game of basketball. This game gives me so much joy whether its watching it or playing it. I'm the type of athlete who knows what i'm doing I look for the easy play and I love a challenge. I don't go anywhere thinking I know everything, I always go to the gym or tournament or practice ready to learn something new and somehow incorporate it into my own game. I'm eager to learn.
It took me to have the thing I love most, playing basketball, to be taken away from me to realize what I really wanted to do for the rest of my life. I had completely torn my ACL and got a chance to get close to my athletic trainer, and my physical therapist. They did so much for me to get me back to better than I was. They motivated me to help people who go through what I went through.

- My team worked very hard and got 2nd place, defeating Saginaw High School, Trinity Christian, and Gunter High, but fell to Alvord. One of my teammates and I, at the end of the tournament, were awarded with All Tournament Team.
