My first goal in college is to gain a degree that will lead me to be a productive part of society and to insure I am able to take care of myself and my family. I love athletics, especially basketball, and all that it provides in making me a better person (discipline, dedication, hard work, goal setting). I have grown up in a household were sports are important. Over the years I have watched my siblings (3 brothers and 5 sisters) and we are constantly pushing each other to be better.
My father is a Coach (Football, Basketball, Track, Cross County) and is constantly showing me how to get better and the important qualities athletics provides.
I know college sports will be more challenging than High School in many ways. I love to compete and am always pushing myself to be better, not just in sports but as a person as well. Being apart of a TEAM is special. I have always thought of it as being a FAMILY. I hope to be apart of a team where I can contribute to its success and be a positive role model.
