Basketball is and has been a very important aspect in my life. Being able to step on the court and play is one of the biggest blessings. I train year round with trainers and coaches. I am always trying to get better and love learning things about the game of basketball that I do not know. I enjoy basketball as a game, the challenges and strategies that go into competing. I would like to play at the highest possible level my abilities will allow and after my playing days are over would like to coach basketball. I have a very close family and family is very significant to me. I volunteer with the Special Olympics, working with the athletes is rewarding and helps me appreciate the abilities God has given me. I also help coach younger kids, because I enjoy it and I like to give back to the game that has given me so much. I try to always have high goals academically as well as athletically. I push myself to not only reach those goals, but to create new ones when I do.
