Growing up, I always competed against my siblings in basketball to see who was the best and if one of us would ever play in college. Lately, with my current hard work and dedication, I am starting to see that playing at the collegiate level is a high possibility.
I am a good candidate for your team because I find out what my role is, and give it my 100% effort to fulfill that expectation to benefit the team in the best way. I have a hunger to score and am a great shooter. Not only that, but I have great ball-handling skills and make it my entire focus to lock up whomever I am guarding. At the end of the day, I'm proud to say that I outhustled everyone and got the most steals.
I am coachable and am a great leader to my teammates. I have developed the concept of leadership through starting varsity since my freshman year and been a captain since my sophomore year. I am considerate of my teammates and have great court vision to see the best possible option for our team.
I take my academics very seriously and I have a 4.0 GPA. I am open to any possibility of playing at the collegiate level and want to find a fit that is best for me. I love basketball as it occupies every free thought of mine and I have sacrificed so much time for that love, but I wouldn't regret it for a second. If you consider me for your team, you will not regret it either. Thank you for your time.
