My name is Laci Sandvil and I'm a senior at Danville High School in Vermont. I have been playing basketball since I was old enough to walk and it has always been such a huge part of my life. I was playing on an 8th grade team as a 7th grader and on JV as an 8th grader. It was a huge part of my success playing along side bigger, stronger, faster, better girls when I was younger, it made me push myself harder and developed my mental toughness at such a young age. As soon as freshman year hit I made the varsity team and I was playing big minutes off the bench. My biggest strength is that I know the game so well, I understand what to do in all situations whether we're up 2 or down 2 with a few seconds left I know what the best thing to do is without having to be told. I'm a hard worker and a very quick learner, I'm always trying to improve my game. I take school just as serious as anything else in my life and I'm never someone that has to be told to work harder in school or improve my grades because I already do it on my own. I'm a good leader and believe in teamwork and selflessness.
Basketball has always been my whole life and it continues to be that way as I'm heading into my last year of high school. I'm hoping I will be able to play in college to keep that fire burning inside me. Teams are my family and I have been helped through some of the toughest time along side my teammates and I really hope I will be able to be on a college team to have other family that I will be able to grow and improve along side of.
