My name is Makenna Watson and i have been playing basketball since 2011 and I have loved it ever since. I am different from a lot of other players because I am not playing basketball just to play or just to get me into college. I am playing because I really love the game and I want to go as far as I can with it. I want to go to the WNBA and I am willing to do whatever I can to get there. Another thing that I think differs me from other players is that I like it when a coach yells at me. I don't take it as them being mean, I take it as them trying to help me get better and fix what i'm doing wrong. I use it as motivation to make me work harder. I also know that to go all the way i have to be smart on and off the court.I make sure I always have good grades because I can't just be good at basketball to get recruited, I also have to have good grades. God forbid I get hurt and can't play anymore, but if that happens me having a good education could get me a better job than someone who didn't get good grades and further their education. I am also a good candidate because I love to play both offense and defense. I am also a hustler, I have had multiple people tell me that they notice am usually always the first person back on defense. I will run as hard as I can the whole time I am in the game. I truly love everything about the game. I love diving on the floor for a loose ball, blocking peoples shots, cheering for my teammates, making layups, stealing the ball everything about it makes me happy. I could go on and on about how much I love the game and why I am a good choice for you and your team but I feel like I have told you the most important things about me. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely, Makenna Watson
