I have been playing basketball since I was 6 years old and right away fell in love with the game. It's been a big part of my life because my father played collegiate basketball and continued to coach not only me but high school boys. It is a goal of mine to continue my love for basketball at a competitive college level.
As a PG I have strong ball handling skills, a high basketball IQ, I am tough and physical on ball defense, and mentally strong. I am also a reliable shooter from three, mid-range, and free throws. As a leader on the court, I encourage my teammates to remain positive when we are up or down. I am very coachable and assist both my High School and AAU Coaches with practices and communicating on the court to my teammates.
I have an extremely high work ethic and just recently stopped playing high level club soccer to focus on my love of basketball. I have found strength training at an early age and have made that a significant part of my life as an athlete. I thoroughly enjoy the process of getting better each day both mentally and physically.
What differentiates me from other athletes is my desire to compete in everything I do to include my studies which I have maintained a 4.0 GPA. My ability to lead continues at school as I am the class Vice President and contribute to many clubs such as Model Judiciary, Service Club, Women for a Cause, and I am on the Junior Board for Coalpit Learning Center. My faith in God continues to guide everything I do both on and off the court and provides me strength to succeed.
I seek to find a college where I can continue to grow as a basketball player and person along with being around others that share in my desire to compete and make others around me better.
