Basketball is a big part of my life where I learn valuable lessons on and off the court. I have learned to be very meticulous with my work. My work ethic lives in school and on the court. I find time to work out with coaches and by myself to master my skills and attempt to become a threat on the floor in spite of being shorter. I challenge myself with advanced skills to compete with other taller and bigger athletes. I have learned how to grow as a leader and how to work with people I have never met before. I want to focus on my schoolwork and still get to play the game I love to play at AAU at a higher level. Time management was a key aspect of how I maintained a student-athlete. Even though I have faced many challenges throughout my athletic career, I have learned to overcome them with the support of my family, teammates, coaches, and friends.
