Emmy Hart '24 Recruiting Profile

Once I began playing basketball when I was 5 years old, I was hooked. Since I started playing competitively in the 5^th grade for an AAU team called the Regulators, the gym has been my second home. I’m a very competitive person in everything I do, and I’m never content with what I have accomplished. I love the grind of the season, the crowd gets me up and excited, and I work hard and spend the time needed in the weight room. When other people get burnt out, I still enjoy every practice. I love basketball because it has taught me so many life lessons over the years, and I’ve gained so many bonds and experiences with my teammates. I have worked extremely hard over the years on my game, and I would like to continue my basketball journey in college.   I look forward to basketball every day in my life, and I would like to keep working to reach my full basketball potential. After my sophomore season in which I mostly came off the bench, I played AAU full time and trained during the off-season.  Last year, in high school, I broke my high school record of threes in a season when I hit 69 in 24 games, and I started all 24 games and was named 2^nd Team All-Conference.  I’m dedicated to getting better for my senior season and beyond.  I’m determined to spend the next year working really hard to achieve my goal to be an impactful player at the college level and I believe my effort, attitude, and ability will benefit any program that I would be a member.
