Erika Pickett Hig...Personal Statement
I have had a love for sports and athletics as far back as I can remember. I wanted to run the fastest at recess, and break barriers of what a girl could do from a young age. I have a mental toughness that keeps me driven, and reaching farther. I have never let anything stand in my way of working hard and getting better and stronger in everything I do. I enjoy working out almost daily, and have big dreams and goals. I plan to go to college to become a Pharmacist, and hope to play sports while I am there. I would be a good candidate for your team because I have a love for the game, and know what it takes to be a part of a team. Aside from Basketball I am the Keeper on the Varsity Girls Soccer team, and I have gone to State for discus in track. I may be different from other recruits because I have a plan to be a 12 letter athlete when I graduate HS and keep my good gpa.
