Freshman year I was 1 of only 2 girls on varsity. Being one of the only freshman really showed me that just because i’m on varsity doesn't mean i'll play a lot or get the minutes you want. Knowing that, it really pushed and influenced me to work harder, go faster, put in more work, and more gym time then everyone else so i could show that i deserve to be out the and have a varsity spot. However, i feel I grew when I didn't play as much. It showed me that I just need to be patient and just work even harder.Through my freshman year i’ve learned to value leadership, sacrifice, and commitment.
In all I’m looking for a program that will be the best fit for me both athletically and academically. Not only that i believe i’m talented enough to play for a college team. I believe that my leadership, teamwork, and strong work-ethic would be a great asset and impact to your program.
