Personal Statement

I started playing basketball when I was in 2nd grade because my whole family has played. From when I was younger I became very interested in the sport and I started to love it. Without basketball I wouldn’t be who I am today and feel the way I do about sports. I played for a select team and won an Easter tournament which made me super happy.

My senior year of highschool I experienced a broken foot during my season, it was the most heartbreaking thing to believe I wasn’t going to get to finish my senior year of basketball. I thought at the time I wouldn’t get to play ever again, I am looking to go to college in the Fall of 2022 to become a nurse.
