Nina Peterson '24 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to continue my basketball career in college. Since I started basketball, I always knew I wanted to play at the college level. It has been an ongoing dream that I have been using as motivation to push me to reach my maximum potential. You have to practice with a purpose if you want to go anywhere in life, and this has been my mindset ever since the beginning. I am coachable, and will always take constructive criticism to help me grow my craft. I started basketball in 5th grade as a post, then over the years have been placed in the shooting guard and point position. My versatility on the court allows me to just play, without anything to hold me back. My drive to achieve my goals of playing at the college level are always in the back of my mind when I practice. With the well known quote of “you practice how you play” is seen in me and my mentality to not only be good, but to be great.
