Taylor Schoengarth '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball since the 3rd grade. Every time I step out onto the court my love and passion for the game grows. Basketball isn’t just a game to me- it’s a part of my identity. It is my escape. My determination to compete and improve myself is the base of my team player attitude and hard work ethic. I have been able to build a mental toughness that has taught me to never let myself become too comfortable and how to keep going with the same intensity and competitiveness even when the odds are stacked against me. Not only do I think I have the talent and skill to be a great addition to your team, I also have the leadership and communication skills it takes to lead a team.

I am also strong academically. I have been able to maintain a 3.86 GPA and am the co-president of my class. My goal is to graduate high school with honors. I want to study medical sciences in college and major in nursing or biology, with a goal of practicing medicine in the field of nephrology.
