Chasity Kennedy '27 Recruiting Profile

Hello! I am deeply interested in continuing my academic and athletic journey as a student-athlete at the collegiate level! Basketball has been a huge part of my life since I was in the third grade and over the years, my dedication to the sport has continued to grow. Playing college basketball has been a goal of mine for as long as I can remember! Not only to compete at the highest level possible but also to grow as a leader, teammate, and individual through the sport I love the most. 

I bring a strong combination of athleticism and academic education to any program i’m a part of. I want to find the best program for me, that will help me continue to grow as a leader, and teammate!On the court, I'm known for my work ethic, coach-ability, and competitive mindset. My teammates would probably tell you that I'm super competitive and that I truly love the game.Outside of scheduled practices and the regular season, I consistently push myself to improve. What sets me apart from other recruits is my consistency-how I show up every day with focus and determination, on and off the court. I'm not just chasing a roster spot; I'm looking for a program where I can grow, contribute meaningfully, and represent the team and school with pride and integrity. I have got A first team all state WV as a sophomore, the only underclassman, and my freshman year i got second team.

In the classroom, I maintain a high GPA and challenge myself with rigorous coursework. I take all the honors classes that are offered for me, I really push my self on court and off.
