Personal Statement
Since I was 8 years old, I set the goal of studying in the United States, it has always been my dream. Now that I'm here, my main goal right now is to go to a college that works best for my career and basketball. I'm deciding between studying nursing or being a lawyer. and with that build my future to give my family and me, a better life opportunity.
I am a very supportive and energetic person. you'll see me around the court and if not, I'll be screaming and supporting my team. When a teammate is feeling down or they needs someone to talk to, I'm always there for them and try to understand what they´re feeling. I also always try to keep the sportsmanship between players and the student section. I'm known to be a great leader and dedicated to everything that I put work into. The same thing to academics, I'm usually busy studying or just always looking for something else to study.

- 2022 National Costa Rica Team (National Team )
- As my transcript says, I'm from Costa Rica. This national team works like this. Each time there is a tournament that involves playing against other countries. The National Team coaches call the best girls from their own club team. It ends up being like 70 people doing tryouts. Each time it gets closer to the tournament date, they make cuts. They go to 60, 40, 28, 20, 18, 15, and the final cut would be 12 girls that would be representing the country in the international tournament. In my basketball life journey, I have been called to these national team tryouts since I was 12. The most recent tournament we had was a central american tournament, that would help us classify to the U17 centrobasket women's qualifier. We played a total of 5 countries and we placed 2nd place, losing by 3 pts against the ''best'' team in the tournament.

Training
- Basketball, gym and conditioning training

- I started playing when I was 3 but started taking it seriously when I was 7. I was personally trained by the best coaches in the country and started getting calls from clubs at that age. My most recent way of training/practicing is waking up at 5:50 am and one day working on basketball and the other day do lifting and conditioning. In the afternoons normal basketball practice with the team.
