My name is Gabby Klas and I have been dreaming of playing college basketball since the first time I picked up a ball. I have high basketball IQ and I am very coachable. One thing I value is taking constructive criticism with a positive approach in order to improve my game in all ways possible. I can handle pressure situations very well and have a quick three-point shot. One goal of mine is to always be the hardest working player in both practice and competition. I strive to always possess team leadership qualities in order to unquestionably contribute to my team.
When I am off of the court, I am studying in order to maintain my 4.1 GPA. I am a part of National Honor Society as well as student council. I am an active FBLA member (Future Business Leaders of America) in which I have won conference, placed at state, and have continued on to the National competition. I volunteer at different events throughout the year such as VBS (Vacation Bible School) at my local church in order to better my community.
A good fit college for me includes one where I can continue to improve on both the basketball court and in the classroom. I am open to all options and want to find the right fit for me and the abilities I posses. I hope to continue my athletic and academic career somewhere in which I can push myself to become a better player and member of society.
