Courtney Krueger '21 Recruiting Profile

I have played sports since a I was 5. I have always loved the game and worked toward getting better everyday. Sports have always and will always be a huge part of my life.  I strive to be the best player and I can be. But I worry about more than just being a great player, I also try to be the best person I can be. In school, at home, out in my community, and on the court or field. I have always been the starting point guard on any team I have played on. Being a point guard is like taking on that lead role. Running the court and making sure your team is set and ready. I have done very well at taking this role on in my life. My sophomore year I was the starting varsity point guard and was able to make second team all conference. I enjoy being that person with the ball in my hands almost every possession.  Now as a junior in high school, I have learned more about the game and I am able to lead my team in even more effective ways. I have learned how to communicate with my coaches teammates in better ways. Every time I step out on the court, I learn new ways to become a better player. Being a multi sport athlete has taught me how to manage my time and work hard. I am a very competitive person and player. I love to win. But sports aren’t all about winning. They are about the person and player you become after   you leave the court for the last time. My experience with sports has taught me many lessons and helped me learn a lot about myself. I hope to continue my basketball career and show what I can do at a collegiate level.
