My name is Jahkya Monique Williams and since I was a kid it was my ultimate goal to become a basketball star. While in middle school I played basketball for two years at Lincoln Middle School Of The Arts , it was a pretty great two years for me. My first couple of years in high school I didn't want to play basketball anymore so I gave it break. My senior year I started attending Early View Academy Of Excellence and these have been the best years of my life. I've never liked basketball this much until I got here. My future goals are now to become a basketball star I know I have many more things to work on but it's getting better. I'm a very good candidate for my team , since I'm much taller than the rest I'm a Power Forward and it's not that hard all I really have to do is put my hands up because we haven't actually played anyone that's been taller than me. I'm very different from the other recruits because I would never let my academics effect my athletics. I take school very seriously , sometimes it's pretty hard for me to study and worry about winning the game but I still manage to make it work. I understand that your not going to win every game but the least you could do is try. I'm very happy that I choose to come to Early View Academy Of Excellence this has been the greatest experience ever.
