Kiley Mueller '24 Recruiting Profile

There are a lot of student-athletes out there but there are certain characteristics that I have that make me stand out. As a human, I am a faithful, kind, funny, athletic, smart, well-rounded teenager. I play basketball year round through AAU, school traveling team as well as regular school season. I am very involved in my community. I have two jobs-cleaning cabins in the summer and fall and i work at Subway all year. I also teach Sunday School at my church, am active in my local 4-H club holding progressively higher leadership roles: club reporter, club treasurer, and am now club President. I have been the secretary and treasurer for my class for the last 3 years. I volunteer at our local thrift shop, food shelf, church, historical society, as well as at my school. I am a volunteer for the Star Legacy Foundation. Although basketball is my passion, I also participate in other sports such as volleyball, softball, and track. Outside of sports I enjoy quiz bowl, band, choir, drama, yearbook, and forensics at school. Athletically, I have played in a basketball league since I was 4 years old. I am a very intense defender, a strong passer, and a leader in the point guard position. Coaches always leave me in the game in intense situations, especially when we are losing and need a player with a strong mental game. So far this 2022-23 school season I am averaging 4.6 steals per game (2nd highest in the Indianhead Conference by only 5 steals), 2.3 assists per game, 3.6 rebounds per game (am the only girl in the conference with more offensive than defensive boards) and 10.0 points per game with a game high of 19. My team is a 1 seed for upcoming tournaments. Academically, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA my whole life. I am very dedicated in everything I do, and give 110% effort 100% of the time. I am extremely coachable and seek constructive criticism. I always strive to become a better athlete, student, and person, every chance I get.
