Ella Hamacher '25 Recruiting Profile

Prep Hoops Wisconsin: Ranked 61st overall, 7th in the state for my position. Junior season first-team All Conference Badger Small. 

I am currently a junior in Stoughton, Wisconsin, playing my 3rd varsity season, second as a starter. I’m also serving as a captain this season. I’m currently averaging 15.8 ppg and 8.4 rebounds. My sophomore year, I averaged 9 points a game and 7 rebounds. I play a hybrid role as a shooting guard and small forward, but can also handle the ball as point guard. Left hand dominant, however I can finish both left and right sides. Strong attack game and perimeter shooting. Calculated and intense defender. Aggressive rebounder. Committed teammate. Coachable and a leader both on and off the court. Strong basketball IQ. 6 years of high level AAU experience to date where this season I averaged 17 points per game, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists. Prep Hoops and other select elite tournament exposure throughout the Midwest. Under Armour Circuit for summer of 2024. 

My goal is to play on a college team where I can use my athleticism and work ethic to better the team, while studying to become a dentist. I thrive in a team environment that is supportive, yet pushes me to get better and work harder. I’ve loved and played basketball as long as I can remember, and nothing would make me happier then to continue that after high school at the collegiate level. 

Academically a 3.5 gpa student. I enjoy spending volunteer hours participating at my church, and am a member of the FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes). Also enjoy staying healthy and active outside of school! I have trained 2 days a week with a personal trainer for the last 3 years. And, work at the gym where I train.
