Tinley Pierson '21 Recruiting Profile

    I can't imagine not playing college basketball.  I have been preparing for this decision since I was young.  My mom has been a High School coach for as long as I can remember and I have worked very hard to achieve this goal.  I am very coach able and will work hard to get better in every aspect of the game.  I feel I don't just focus on scoring as many basketball athletes do.  Each stat is important and I want to rise to the top in all.  

    I know that making it to the next level isn't easy.  I will stick with my goal whatever comes my way, and I will make it.  I feel hard work does pay off and I have put forth the extra effort in everything I do.  I have had to juggle 4 h animals, sports, school, and church activities my whole life.  I have shown the regional show heifer of the year, gone on a mission trip in Haiti,  achieved all state in 3 sports as a Sophomore, and I will graduate high school with 18 college credits 

     I love being apart of a team that has the same goals and work ethic as I do!  I feel if you have a group of individuals focused on one goal, and are committed to each person growing to achieve this you will have success.  I am looking forward to gaining an education while being apart of a family in the game of basketball.
