Lauren Sayre '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Lauren Sayre.   My High School Varsity team just named me Captain, voting with comments like "Always Positive, Puts Team First, Goes after every point, Attitude is Amazing  and Caring Leader".  I play for RPM Sand in Arizona.  My club coaches like how coachable I am, and my strong work ethic.  I had to play up in 18's, like indoor, due to my late August birthday but I've learned so much from the D1 girls in the club.  In my first beach season, I made it to 2 Finals matches in 18's Santa Monica and Hermosa,  this past July 2019.  

Prior to playing volleyball, I played highly competitive club soccer for more than six years, winning 2 consecutive State Titles in my last seasons and simply fell in love with volleyball and made the switch.   

In my last indoor club season I had the highest kill percentage and moved from Middle to Outside and remained on the court for the final 3 months playing every position.

I not only work hard on the court, but also in the classroom with a 4.83 GPA.  My dream is to play volleyball at the next level, and I am dedicated to making that dream a reality. 

Being selected to the best soccer and indoor teams in Arizona has taught me hard work, leadership, goal setting and team work.  These are skills that I know will carry me into college and help a program.
