I first started playing volleyball in 4th grade and along with volleyball I did other sports that my school offered for 4th and 5th grade. But after those years I realized that volleyball was the sport that I wanted to stick with. I player indoor club in 6th grade and played for my school but thought it was okay and continued to play for my school. Right after 7th grade my best friend who had been playing volleyball with me asked if I wanted to try out sand volleyball at a new club right next to our school. It was an all-year round sand volleyball club so right after school my friend and I would walk to grab some food and go straight to practice and after that first season I fell in love with sand and knew that I would much rather play sand than indoor. I believe that I have always been good about maintaining my grades while also being able to practice over three times a week and wanting to play more. I believe I am a well-rounded student and ever since freshman year I have been able to keep a job, play tons of sand volleyball with my club and I am still able to have time to volunteer at Miracle League once a week.
