Cali Piazza '24 Recruiting Profile

     I started playing volleyball in 5th grade for my school. At the time it was just something fun to do after school with my friends. I started enjoying it more and more, then I decided I wanted to start playing competitively. So my mom signed me up to play club volleyball because I loved it so much. I continued playing for the next 6 years, which leads me to where I am now. In the past 2 years, I have been introduced to beach volleyball, which is also a blast. I was lucky enough to have competed and won league for beach and indoor. My club beach partner and I won 3rd in a recent tournament we played in. Through playing volleyball I have learned that I keep pushing til the very end, and use my volleyball IQ in all situations.

•       I hold myself to a pretty high standard for academics, I try to maintain A's, but I don't get too hard on myself when one of those drops. If it does drop tho I will do everything in my power to raise it back up again. In college, I would love to study veterinary medicine, and I already have started working at a vet clinic as a part-time job.
