Lilia Ballow '20 Recruiting Profile

Born and raised in California. I was exposed to competitive sports at an early age. After playing competitive soccer and indoor volleyball, I discovered beach volleyball in 2015. Over the past four years of playing, watching, analyzing, and thinking about the game, I have fallen in love with playing and being part of this unique community.  When playing with peers my age or adults on the weekend, I am often called out for my energy, smiles, cheers and effort.

My goal is to find a beach volleyball program that allows me to play for them, whether that will be at a two year or four-year college. One of my biggest values is health (mind, body, nutrition) see my Instagram at liliafitsta.  I am working towards a Kinesiology degree. I have a 4.0 GPA and currently take all my classes at West Valley Junior College as part of the middle college program.  I am a very mature and responsible person and am already exposed to the college lifestyle. I will continue to work hard so I can experience the joy of being a student-athlete in college.
