I am extremely passionate about volleyball and it is one of my dreams to play this sport at a college level. On the court I am a determined and driven leader. There is nothing that will stop me from giving my all when I am competing. I have a very competitive side to me, as a lot of people in my life would agree. The competitiveness is something I turn into giving my 110% every single time I step on the court, this makes me dependable for my teammates. On the court I am very supportive to all of my teammates whether we are in the lead or coming from behind. On the academic side of my life, I work just as hard at school as I do in volleyball. To me, academics are what is going to fuel my future, which is the main reason I stay focused and persistent with my school work. Throughout my 3 years of high school I have taken mostly AP and honors classes. Having my rigorous schoolwork and volleyball schedule this has taught me great time management. Along with school, I participate in 3 school-organized clubs. First. I am a member of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), which has been as great way to get involved with the business world. My freshman year in FBLA I made it to the State competition that was in Vail, Colorado with my testing event. My sophomore year I presented a business presentation for FBLA and got first at districts, second at the state competition, and competed at nationals. My Junior year, I presented a Business Ethics Presentation that received second at districts and fourth at state. My partner and I submitted our nationals presentation virtually at the end of my junior year. Also in my junior year I was the secretary for FBLA/DECA and my senior year, I am going to pursue the role as Vice President for both of these clubs. In DECA my junior year, I competed at districts and made it to state, as well as competed at the state competition. I am also involved in NHS (National Honors Society) for my junior and senior year. Overall, my goal is to become the best volleyball player and teammate I can while giving it my all and never giving up.
