I started playing volleyball when I was in fifth grade, and played on my first indoor club team. After four years of playing indoor volleyball competitively for Orlando Tampa Volleyball Academy, and playing beach volleyball occasionally, I tried out for BeVolley Academy in St Pete and I made the elite team when I was in ninth grade.
Through playing beach volleyball, I have learned that I have a competitive spirit and I am willing to put in the effort it takes to get the desired results. In addition, beach volleyball has taught me the importance of mental toughness and the positive affect it has on my performance.
Currently, I have a 3.9 unweighted GPA and a 4.5 weighted GPA. It is my goal to maintain this level of academic excellence throughout high school. As for college, my main goal is to prepare myself for life after school, specifically a career in sports medicine. I value my education over everything, and it will remain a priority once I get to college. I have found a passion for beach volleyball and it is my ultimate goal to play in college.
