My name is Kala Emanuelli, I am a future graduate of the HS class of 2022. I have been playing volleyball for the last 7 years in Grade and High School, the last three years playing both indoor and beach. In the indoor course I play outside hitter or defensive specialist for both club and school teams. In beach volleyball I am a split blocker. I am very passionate about volleyball and look forward to playing it at a high level while attending a robust school. I see myself as a good option for a college team since I enjoy challenges and competitions as well as teamwork. My favorite part about playing the game is how it helps with my thinking process due to having to make quick and smart decisions while reaching for the ball be it defensively or offensively. After being team captain 2 times, I believe I am very responsible and supportive as I love to cheer my team trough good and bad games. One thing I aspire the most is having the opportunity to play volleyball at a high level and keep on learning strategies and ways to improve my plays as well as support my teammates. As for academics, I am leaning towards an undergraduate degree in business administration that could open the doors to many options. I've been told I have the qualities to become a good lawyer as I like to make a good case. Therefore, Pre-Law may also be in the cards.
