Mabry Ward '19 Recruiting Profile

I am a solid passer and defender, and I can side out and put the ball away as well. Regardless of these skills, I think that my absolute best asset is my competitiveness. I am super competitive, and I fight for every point. Another one of my best qualities is my positive attitude on and off the court. I am always high-fiving my teammates, complimenting them, communicating, and reassuring them when they are down.

From personal experience, I have learned that with a great attitude, giving your best effort, and being disciplined, one is able to rise above others. I feel that the most important things in order to improve are believing within yourself,  and working your hardest when no one is watching. I am looking forward to playing in college with girls that are determined to win and can dig deep within themselves when they have to.
