Jackson Maupin '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jackson Maupin and I’m currently a sophomore attending Argyle High School in Argyle, TX.  I have been playing basketball since I was 6 years old. I was originally coached by my father, who played at Pittsburgh State, until 6th grade when I moved to a team more involved in the AAU circuits. Some goals that I have for the last few years of my high school career include personal development with strength, quickness, speed, basketball skills, and most importantly academics. I would like to be at the top of my class academically and continue learning not only at school, but outside the classroom as well.

Looking into the future, I want to attend a college that meets my athletic and educational needs. I want to attend a program that allows me to reach my maximum potential academically while also supporting me as an athlete and learning about life through the game of basketball. I feel that I have the character, drive, discipline and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on any team and I am open to many college options.
