Personal Statement

I have an ardent Love for volleyball and I hope to continue my career at a school with both rigorous academics, and athletics. I've always been a natural leader both in the classroom and on the court. Currently, I am the freshman representative for the Young Democrats Club at my school and, this past season I received the EXCEL Award for showing leadership and commitment to my team. I know what it is like to be a starter on the team, and one who doesn't play all the time, this gives me an ability to relate to all players on any team I'm on.

I know in life, that nothing comes without hard work and dedication. I can say, I'm an extremely hard worker, and eager to learn new things. I am well aware that playing time is earned in practice, which is why it would be extremely hard to catch me slacking off and not giving my 110%. I always make it a point to cheer on my teammates no matter the the score. Even on the Beach court I make sure to support my partner even if she's having a rough day.

From the classroom, to the sand, to indoor, Im a leader, and a compassionate teammate. No matter the circumstances I'm always there for my peers for anything they need. I have the grit and tanasity needed to get far in sports and I welcome challenges. Getting the opportunity to play this amazing sport at the next level would be a dream come true, and I can't wait to see what the future has in store!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
