Personal Statement
At first I was in love with swimming and swam competitively for 2 years, but then my family and I went to Kauai on vacation at a beach resort and started to play volleyball. I never wanted to leave and ever since then I have fallen in love with the sport. In the last 5 years that I have been playing volleyball, I have grown a lot as a player, including my competitiveness, encouragement, leadership and sportsmanship. I started on the hardcourt, playing many different positions but found beach volleyball and loved it even more.
