My name is Ally Hrncir. My diving career started in 8th grade toward the end of my 12 year competitive gymnastics career. Since I was a freshman, I have been a Palmer High School Varsity Diver. As an athlete, I am hardworking, dedicated, and a supportive teammate. As a freshman, I scored in the top 6 in the Alaska State Championships. Sophomore year was limited due to Covid, but I was able to practice all year and progress my dive skills. Junior year I was a Regional Champion and earned second place at state.
In addition to diving, I am a responsible student and high school wrestler. I have maintained a high GPA while being a multi-sport athlete and small business owner. I rarely miss school or a practice because I know the importance of showing up and maintaining a schedule. When I am not diving or wrestling, I do CrossFit, compete in equestrian sports, and work on art for my business.
I am a passionate artist with a creative mind. At college, I would like to pursue art or sport fitness. I know that diving at a collegiate level would make me a better athlete, student, and person. Because I am determined, focused, and driven, I am sure that I will be a great college student-athlete.
