Anahit Cholakyan '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been diving for about two years now and I fell in love with the fact that I get to be in the water almost everyday!  I did gymnastics for 11 years prior to diving and it has been a big advantage for me.  I see myself diving in college which is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

I am a very hard working athlete and I've learned how to make corrections very fast.  You will not regret recruting me because I am a very coachable athlete who takes corrections very well.

I currently started my own club at school where I do various fundraisers to collect money for the athletes in need.  My main focus are the ahletes in Armenia who are very poor and can't afford much. This club has been very successful and this year alone I've raised over $5000.

I have also maintained an average GPA and continue to study hard and get good grades.  I volunteer at International Sports Union where I help different coaches with there classes.   

My sister is my biggest role model, she is currently a student at UC Berkeley.  My dream is one day to attend the best college suitable for me, where I can have the best education and the best diving career.
