Personal Statement
I have been training as an athlete since I was 8 years old, my athletic career started as an USAG gymnast, and I transitioned into diving in 2023. I have learned the mental aspect of competition as well as practice, and I am able to work hard and enjoy what I'm doing at the same time. I have also been able to keep up with my practices, classes, and personal life, without feeling extremely overworked.
I hope to study psychology as an undergraduate, with goals of obtaining my Masters in Child and Family Psychology, focusing on working with student athletes. I also have a strong interest in American Sign Language, and hope to be able to work with the Deaf Community as well.
