My first year of high school was an adventure. On top of all of the new things I was introduced to, I decided to join my school's swim and dive team. There hadn't been any divers in a couple of years, so three freshmen, one of them being myself, decided to try diving for the first time. I had somewhat of an experience flipping because I was a gymnast for 4 years and I was a state champion for gymnastics in 2014. Diving became a daily thing for me, and something I always looked forward to at the end of my school days.
As my first season doing dive progressed, my dives started to get more difficult and harder. Diving gives me a thrill and it brings me excitement. I'm very tough on myself and I'm my harshest critic, so I always want to improve and get as close to perfect as possible. I started focusing on diving a lot more, and without realizing it, my dives started to become natural to me. I love to dive, and I want to continue to dive for as long as I can.
Diving has become my passion, and I dream to dive in college. I put all of my efforts into everything I do, whether it's sports or school. If I give it all of my best, I know I can be a successful and great diver in college. I want to grow as a diver and become one of the bests in college. I aspire to have people know my name, and with my hard work I know I can accomplish that dream.
During college, I am looking to study biology. I wish to study biology because after college I want to make it into medical school. My biggest goal in life is to help people, and I want to do this by having some type of career in the medical field. The career I hope to achieve is being an anesthesiologist. The medical field is always in need of more help, and I want to be apart of that. Helping people is such an important part of my life. I am going to have some kind of career involved in helping.
I am a very hard worker, I am dedicated, and I am determined to achieve all of my dreams and goals in life.
