April 2022: Diving continues to motivate me in so many ways. This past weekend I had a blast at YMCA Nationals in Orlando Florida. I know I still have some room to improve but I was very proud of a few of my dives. Form continues to be something I have to work hard on and I know my overall score will improve as I continue to transform from gymnast to diver. I am starting to look for a program that has a strong developmental coach that can get me to the next level as well as an intense dryland program that will help me transform.
At Y Nat's I had a great overall experience. Platform was so much fun, my list was simple and kept my DD low but I was confident in all of he dives I competed. The 612 was probably my best dive, but handstands will never be an issue for me! 1 meter was the toughest competition at the meet. I was excited to perform well. My 105b didn't go the way I wanted and I know that was key for me to get over 300 (my goal.) Overall 1 meter was good! I know there is room for improvement and that my goals are within reach! 3 meter was my best diving of the meet. I like 3 meter because I have the time and confidence to throw some bigger dives. I redeemed myself on my 105b, one of my best dives of the meet. My 405c was the dive that took me below the 300 goal on 3 meter. I had been hitting it consistently in practice but didn't hit in the meet.
I am excited to be competing again soon in the Region 1 qualifier early in May! The recruiting process has been a lot of fun for me. I am confident in my potential. I know I will find the right fit!

March 2022: I have been diving for almost a year! I now have a full 1m and 3m list and working toward my full 2.5 list on 3! I hope to have that by the 2022/23 club season. So far I have 105b and 405c, in addition my twisting optional is 5233d, backs and reverses are next. I am very excited because I am starting platform training this week! I know my gymnastics background and natural power will help me so much in this event! I hope to compete a list at YMCA Nationals in April!
I have been training hard and learning so much at diving however I have still been competing gymnastics for my high school team. While my time is mostly spent on diving I have been able to compete and have an awesome high school season with my gymnastics team! Tonight I was recognized at our CIAC State Open Banquet where I found out I earned All FCIAC (Conference) 1st Team Vault, Floor and Beam and All American Elite on Vault and All American 1st Team on Floor and Beam. Gymnastics will always be a part of my story and I am so happy I have found a way to stay connected to the sport while still focusing on my new love, diving!
January 2022: In 9 months of diving I have fallen in love with the sport! During my high school season I was able to make it all the way to the State Open meet in Middletown Connecticut. I place 17th in the state with my 11 dive list. Since high school season ended I have been training with my club team and focusing on building my three meter list. This week I learned 5233D on 3m and can even make it on 1m. Feeling very motivate to get as far as I can with my list over the JO season with form and DD. I'm learning my strengths are power, twisting and positivity.
I'm also keeping up with dryland by training with my High School Gymnastics team. I was ranked number one in the state two years during the pandemic therefore I have already qualified for High School State Opens. Gymnastics, even at this level gymnastics continues to keep me strong.
September 2021: I have been a competitive USAG Gymnast since I was 6 years old. My highest accomplishment is competing at level 9 Eastern National Championships in Orlando Florida in 2019 where I placed 6th on Vault, which was my speciality. In 2020 I was set to begin my first year as a USAG level 10 gymnast with all of my routines and skills.
Because of gym closures and the world changing I had to opportunity to try something different. I found diving in March of 2021, I can wait to try to use all my skills from gymnastics in this new and fun world of diving! I am competing for the fist time in September with my high school team Staples, and look forward to getting on the JO scene this winter.
I feel there is nothing I can't do or won't try! I want connect with the right coach who can take me to my full potential!
