I am a multi-sport athlete, which includes diving and gymnastics. While I’ve only been diving since Freshman year, I was a gymnast for about 10 years. That was until I hurt my back and have since backed off from gymnastics to focus on diving. I still do High School gymnastics but my bigger focus is on diving. Being a gymnast, you learn perseverance and not only how to strengthen your physical potential but your mental as well. Being on a team for most my life has helped me develop leadership skills and the ability to work well with others. While these sports are mainly individual, I believe the support from your team, family, and friends is what gets you to your goals. Outside of my athletic career, I am part of the Student Athletic Training Program at my high school along with an out of school Fire Cadet Program. Both of which I wish to go into in the future.
