I want to compete in college because I love the sport and am continuing to improve with each meet. I know I haven't peaked yet! I started diving my freshman year of high school but I had been a competitive gymnast for many years before switching to diving so I understand how to apply coaching instructions and recognize the amount of commitment and time required to be at the top of the sport. I am an encouraging teammate! Being part of a team is a big part of the fun of diving for me.
I was a captain for my senior high school season 2024-2025 for the Warren Township High School Swim and Dive team and current school record holder for both 11 dives (452.25) and 6 dives (259.70) for 1 meter. I was a State Finalist for 2024-2025 (10th place, 444.90) and was a State Qualifier for my 2023-24 high school season, received the IHSA Scholastic Achievement Award (2023 and 2024), NSC All-Conference Award (2023 and 2024), NSC All-Academic Award (2023 and 2024), and North Surburban Conference Sportsmanship Award (2023). I also won the Josh Church award my freshman year 2021-22 (for showing the most heart). I am a National Junior Honor Society Member (2024) and member of the Student Athlete Leadership Team (SALT) at Warren (2023-2025). I also qualified for AAU Nationals for 1 meter in and attended (at Fort Lauderdale) in July 2024.
