Thank you for stopping by and checking out my profile. My name is Kaylin Olson, but my teammates and coaches call me Olson. I am currently a senior, in the class of 2024. I started diving during my sophomore year. As a former competitive gymnast, I immediately fell in love with the feeling of flying that diving gives me. My gymnastics background allowed me to catch on quickly to the sport of diving, and I continually improved my score by beating the school record, held by me, at almost every meet. I currently hold the school records in 6 and 11 dives and the conference record for 11 dives. It was very exciting to qualify for state my first year, being the first female diver in my school history to do so, but I am nowhere near done.
When I am not in the pool, I am running and participate in the triple jump on my school's varsity track team. I also believe in giving back to my community by volunteering to coach youth competitive cheerleading. Being a role model to so many young athletes is humbling. My passions are traveling and exploring new places. I also like to hop on my bike and go riding. But I also enjoy staying close to home and hanging out with my friends. I look forward to meeting you and learning more about the opportunities you may have for me.
