Kailyn Aquino '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been a competitive swimmer and diver for 11years. I fell in love with diving at 9yrs of age with my local summer league in which I was invited to join Solo Aquatics. Throughout my time, I have developed a strong work ethic and learned to push myself to accomplish many goals which includes qualifying for several AAU Red, White and Blue and National events and most recently USA Regional meets.

Entering High School, diving became a much bigger aspect of balancing both High School and club practice while also challenging myself with multiple AP and college courses. Last year I left competitive swimming to focus entirely on diving to reach my goal of diving in college. This also allowed me time to coach both new divers and swimmers. As a Division 1 diver I have placed 8th (freshman), 2nd (sophomore) and this year became the MA State Champion. I have been recognized as an All Conference 2nd team x1, First Teamx2, Diver of the year, Merrimack Valley MVP for 2 years, and Boston Globe All Scholastic. It is through my positive relationship and support with my coach and teammates that help drive my success and what’s important to me.

I am a very passionate diver but also focus on strong academics performance. My goal is to pursue my love for math and science to obtain a degree in mechanical engineering. I am dedicated, loyal and like to challenge myself to be successful while maintaining a healthy balance. In college, I want to be able to continue diving while being surrounded by a positive environment of teammates and coaches willing to challenge and motivate me.
