Katelin Carter '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kate Carter and I am going into my Senior year at Walled Lake Northern in Commerce Michigan. I joined when I was 4 years old, worked my way up to the Excel Level Diamond when I was 14, and left the sport at 16 working Level 8 skills. Growing up in a sport with such a demanding environment, I learned discipline and how to quickly make changes; I've always been told I am a very coachable athlete and I am very responsive to corrections which makes me easy to work with. I also have a very strong background in Gymnastics and I am pretty fearless when it comes to trying new things. I like to set ambitious goals and push myself to achieve them. Academically I push myself to work hard on every assignment and get good grades, although I strive for perfection I know that as long as I work my hardest for something I will get the corresponding results. I'm hoping to continue my academic and athletic career diving for an NCAA Division I, II, or III school.
