I am a diver from Legacy High School, in Bismarck, North Dakota. I started diving my 8th grade year and qualified for state every year.
My overall PR this year is 390.10 on 1 meter. I took first at WDA and made 1st All Conference team.
My state meet did not go as planned. There was a mixup with the position I had planned on doing a dive in, which resulted in me not making cuts on the first day. This was devastating because I had been ranked in the top 3, but being able to cheer on my teammates was a very special experience and I am grateful I got to go through it.
I would love to dive in college because I want to experience being apart of a new team, and becoming close with the team. I love the environment that swimming and diving creates and I would love to be apart of the college swimming and diving experienc!
