Throughout my life, I have been a competitive athlete, and my participation in sports has taught me skills that have made me a better student and friend. Over the years, I have benefitted from developing time management skills, a strong work ethic, resilience, and determination. These are all skills that I know will help me make the most of my experience in college. I want to be recruited to dive in college because I have recently begun diving at the club level and would love to continue learning and competing new dives. From my many years as a competitive gymnast, I know that being part of a sports team can also help me prioritize my time and help me develop meaningful friendships.
I plan on applying to colleges with engineering programs and hope to study aerospace or civil engineering. I love math and science, and an engineering major involves the application of both of these subjects and would prepare me for a hands-on career where I can use my creativity everyday. The collaborative aspect of engineering is also something I look forward to since I enjoy working with and learning from others.
