Personal Statement
As a competitive gymnast of ten years, I came into the sport late, but I am so excited to continue learning and growing as a diver with an emphasis on platform diving. I especially enjoy platform because I love heights and I'm not afraid to try new things. Gymnastics helped me focus on the details and the corrections from coaches to able to learn and improve quickly. I've also learned the importance of hard work and determination and the spirit needed to be a good teammate and an accurate diver. Academically I work just as hard as I do in diving and realize the importance of a well balanced schedule. I can't wait to take my diving to the next level and be a part of a college team.
