Elizabeth "Elsa" Marsden '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been a summer diver since I was 6 years old.  I began training with a club team, Dominion Dive Club, in 2018 and strengthened my 1-meter and developed a 3-meter list.  I had hoped to showcase my new lists at a meet March 22-23, but the meet was canceled due to COVID-19.  I have been diving with Madison High School for 4 years and have made districts and regionals all three years. In addition, I am a Captain of the Swim and Dive Team this year.  In Junior year I earned a 9th place finish at the 6A Regions. This year I hope to compete at the state level.

I hope to dive competitively in college starting Fall 2022.  I am looking for a team with family-like connections and a close-knit relationship.  I would like to improve my diving while also completing a degree in biology in hopes to pursue a pre-med track.  

I have focused on striving for excellence in my academics while at James Madison High School and have gained valuable experiences through my rigorous course load.  Numerous teachers have acknowledged my academic excellence, and I hope to challenge myself in college to become the best scholar I can be.
